Science educator. School leader. Perpetual student. Environmental steward. World explorer.
This blog is dedicated to my favorite passions, come explore with me.
My recent adventures include safari through southern Africa, finally making it to the Grand Canyon, surfing with mom in Costa Rica, epic west coast road trip from Seattle to San Diego, trekking up mountains in the rainforests of Madagascar, relaxing on Block Island in the middle of winter, circumnavigating Iceland with National Geographic and Lindblad expeditions, road tripping through Alaska with some fabulous friends, and a glorious summer spent writing in Berlin. Though 2020 has thrown my typical travel plans for a curve, I’m grateful for local travel and more time at home. Excited to see what 2021 has in store for me and my passport.
